In spite of all that celebrity and fame, Beatz is no stranger to his numerous lawsuits. The 38-year-old musician was hit with a $42 million lawsuit for allegedly extorting a car leasing firm from million of dollars. The judge dismissed the case earlier in the year. Now, the two parties are going back to court in the case of another case involving luxury cars.Swizz Beatz, whose real name is Kaseem Dean, was confronted with a $16.15 million lawsuit this week, alleging that he sold or fraudulently utilized a number of vehicles. The suit, filed by the Long Island-based Metro Gem Leasing, in Nassau Supreme Court, is similar to the same lawsuit they filed where they accused the producer of hip-hop of being a representative for auto dealer Macky DancyAccording to Metro Gem's lawyers, the new lawsuit states that Beatz and his wife Alicia Keys' company, AK Worldwide, drove cars acquired from them after defaulting on their leases. The lawsuit also claims that Beatz and wife Keys did not have to repossess the cars and still owe them the amount.
